Lough Foyle WW2 bomber wreck story to be explored at the Tower Museum

Bullets that were recovered from the aircraft at the bottom of the Foyle.
The story of how a World War Two bomber aircraft ended up on the seabed of Lough Foyle will be explored at a special event at the Tower Museum on Thursday March 2nd.

Expert diver Danny Keenan will deliver a talk about how he, along with fellow divers from the Inishowen Sub Aqua Club, discovered the wreck of ‘The Meltin’ Pot’ B17 bomber between Greencastle and Magilligan in 2001

Bike Marking Event - On Yer Bike

 The PSNI working in partnership with the PCSP are arranging a number of Bike Marking events across the District. The first of these events will be held on 

Saturday 18th February 2017 at Banbridge Leisure Centre from 11am to 1pm. If you own a bicycle you can bring it along to have it marked with its own unique reference number and QR code label which is then entered onto the Bike Register Website…… Remember we will need your email address!

This initiative supported by the PCSP provides security advice on protecting your bicycle and how to stay safe on the roads. Please come along to this Free Event, we will be there to provide advice and you will also have a chance to avail of free hi-viz accessories.
